Bearcat Ventures is the University of Cincinnati's student-led venture fund and professional organization. We invest in alumni-led and Cincinnati-based startups across a board spectrum of industries and verticals.

 

We offer students an opportunity to engage with fellow students interested in the industry of venture investing, while providing opportunities to learn about the process through training lectures, case studies, and speaking events from industry professionals.  Bearcat Ventures encompasses three major venture investing activities: (1) our $1M+ educational evergreen student venture fund where trained students conduct due diligence and invest in actual UC-affiliated startups; (2) our Venture Research Studio, where trained students provide Pitchbook market research for UC-affiliated startups; and (3) our Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC) team, which competes annually in the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill venture capital case competition.
